Glendale is a professionally managed, closely held business.  The company  has over eight decades of  core competency in the management of tea plantations. The management professionals have experience in tea plantation is not just limited to India, but extends to Sri Lanka, Uganda etc. The Company has interests in many agro based products and pharmaceutical products.
The Group also owns a Ready To Drink Tea manufacturing and marketing company in California under the name and style of M/s Shangri-la Tea Co Inc.

Glendale, means a Valley within a valley. Over the years, Glendale tea is renowned for offering a range of SINGLE GARDEN PURE PREMIUM TEA of PLATINUM quality.

Glendale Estate comprises of  3 Gardens constituting a total planted  area of 525 hectares [1 hectare = 2.47 acres], with a production capacity exceeding 3,000 kg per hectare . Glendale produces a cumulative total in excess of 1.50 million kg of made tea every year.

Integrated
Glendale Tea is a premium quality product. The tea bushes are grown, succulent tea leaves plucked, processed in a state of the art factory under strict hygiene conditions  and packaged in-house to retain garden freshness and flavour.

And Environment Friendly.
Glendale is committed to the conservation and preservation of our ecosystem and our environment. Glendale is also committed to the reduction in the use of pesticides and fungicides in the fields operations to prevent pollution of  the environment and our tea is absolutely safe for human consumption and is also better for the environment. The Maximum Residue Level (MRL) of Glendale tea is always below the international MRL Standards.

High Grown Tea.
A large section of our gardens are at an altitude of over 1700 mts (5600 feet),which imparts the special high grown flavour to the tea. Some of the clone tea bushes grown in the plantation give the unique flavour to the Glendale Tea.

Glendale has been an early innovator in more than one way. Vacuum packaging helps us to ensure that the exquisite Glendale tea we produce remains garden fresh until it reaches the consumer. With a passion for ultimate customer satisfaction, Glendale partners with its customers to create a transparent value-based relationship.

Glendale is also renowned for the custom made boutique teas, designed to suit customers’ specific preferences. We have been closely associated with UPASI [United Planters Association of South India] R&D Department since its inception dating back to 1920s, and even today, our R&D team works closely with many research organizations to develop innovative and to improve our products.
